He did check up at the top of the lane and without that, could have finished better. #5 Owendale looked impressive in the Grade 3 Lexington Stakes, just missing out on the Derby but will be fresher than those that did compete two weeks ago. #7 Alwaysmining has won 6 straight on the Maryland circuit including 5 stakes. Look for him to be alive with some value.
