Horse racing is highlighted at the beach today at picturesque Del Mar. 11 races on the card including the Grade 1 Pacific Classic. It's going to be a great day.

Race 1

Starting off the day with a small field highlighted by #5 Fawree who has won his last two times out in improving form. He is training well and has a win over the course. #4 Paladar looks to be in great form with some unbelievably good works in the morning since his break started. He should rebound well in this spot. #3 Tule Fog is dropping down from stakes company into a good spot for him to be very competitive.

Race 2

#4 Samurai Charm and #6 Paid Informant both have looked great in their morning workouts and have the breeding to be successful in this race. #2 Well Done Sally ran well in her debut and looks positioned to come back strong again.

Race 3

#2 Stormy Liberal comes in as the defending champion of this race. He has had a long break since his effort in Dubai and is ready to return to his winning ways. #5 Eddie Haskell comes in a winner of three straight and defeated Stormy Liberal when they met in February. #1 Calexman returns to the Del Mar turf where he is 4 for 4 on hitting the board. Watch for him to be in the mix at a price.

Race 4

#2 Oliver drops in class today after a good outing last time versus stronger company. He also has been sharp in the morning. #5 Clem Labine comes into this race having finished 2nd versus similar company the last two times out. #7 Satanta comes in off an impressive win in his debut. He should return well here.

Race 5

#12 Mo Forza looks to finally break through after 3 times on the board his first three times out. #13 Chewing Gum ran well in his debut and should run well here. #6 Parsimony has run well his last several times out but just hasn't found that break through effort. Will today be that day? He will certainly be in the mix though.

Race 6

#1 Tizamagician ran well in his debut, running second versus similar. #4 Royal Thunder has been training well in the morning and looks sharp for his debut. #5 Hydrogen has good breeding and his training in the morning looks great. Expect a good debut effort.

Race 7

#4 Marckie's Water just missed out last time and was flying late and did get there the race before. He will be coming again late. #6 The Great Day showed improvement as he looks to round into the form that saw him a champion in Argentina. He will look to take another step forward in his third start off the layoff. #7 Itsinthepost ran well last time out and a similar effort will put him square in the mix today.

Race 8

#3 Classic Fit ran a strong 2nd last time out in against good company and is positioned well here. #4 Hollywood Hills exploded in returning to the dirt last time out. Another effort like that will see her take the win again. #6 Sneaking Out was just nosed out last time out and has given great effort her last three times out. She will be in the mix again today.

Race 9

#10 Mucho Unusual has won her last three efforts. She looks strong coming in here. #1 Cambier Parc ran a great race last time out finishing 3rd. She looks strong here today. #7 Dogtag put in a good trip just to be out finished last time at Saratoga. She will give another game effort here.

Race 10

#5 Seeking the Soul ran a great race and won the Grade 1 Stephen Foster at Churchill Downs last time out. #2 Quip just missed out versus Seeking the Soul passed deep in the lane. #10 Draft Pick gave a great effort last time out at Del Mar and has been training very well in the morning. Watch for him to be game at a good price.

Race 11

#11 An Eddie Surprise ran very well against similar company last time out. #10 Lucky Peridot bounced a little last time out off her strong maiden victory. A rebound here is to be expected. #7 Betty F makes her American debut in a drop in class. She will be a strong threat to win here today.
