8-9-4

#8 Fast Recovery is a first time starter that has been lightening quick in the mornings comes from a barn that wins 13% with first timers. #9 Rivers of Lite was closing last time out in the mud and could improve today with that first start under his belt. #4 Wenyen drops down to maiden claiming in a barn that wins 33% of their starts at that level.

Race 2

5-1-11

#5 Mutineer has second against similar last time out. He is making his first start in a new barn. #1 Mica Bay went three wide last time before finishing third. #11 Knowyouroptions went four wide last time out and rallied to second. He was closing late.

Race 3

10-9-7

#10 Lovely Lou has never missed being on the board in her 4 career starts. She has been a route before as well. #9 Too Pretty ran well last time out when she switched to a route finishing second. #7 Morning Valentine ran third in her first start and her breeding suggests she will like the route.

Race 4

2-1-7

#2 Dancin in Paradise drops in class today and adds blinkers. Trainer wins 21% with blinkers and 22% with first time blinkers. #1 Elite Song fade late last time in the mud but also is dropping in class today. Watch for a better effort today. #7 Twirling Around is also dropping in class today and has been very sharp in the mornings. Look for a good price on her.

Race 5

4-12-13

#4 Skyvalue ran a good third beaten only 1.5 lengths. She also is taking a small drop in class today. #12 Minji led her debut before fading to third. Look for her to take a step forward today. Trainer is also winning 23% of second time maiden starters. #13 Collude has improved in her last two finsihing second last time out. Another step forward today will have her right in the mix again.

Race 6

3-4-12

#3 Front Door ran a good second last time out and takes a drop in class today. Look for good things from him here. #4 Dangerfield has hit the board in three straight and I expect him to extend that to four. #12 Altito is also dropping in class today after finishing fourth in his most recent.

Race 7

5-7-1

#5 Dessman has run second in three straight coming into today. He also has experience with a route and is eligible to improve with this being his second start off a layoff. #7 Everfast returns to the track today off a long layoff. He will not see nearly the competition today that he was facing last year in Grade 1s and 2s. Look for him to come charging in late. #1 Wild Popit comes in having finished first in two straight though was DQed in one of those. Watch for him to continue his winning ways.

Race 8

2-4-9

The Count Fleet Sprint Handicap comes with a loaded field. #2 Flagstaff comes in off a win and a second by a neck. He will be right there again today. #4 Bobby's Wicked One blitzed the field in his last two starts. If he comes out like that again today, no one will catch him. #9 Whitmore got away slowly last time but rallied up in time for the win. He loves Oaklawn with 8 wins and 13 times on the board in 13 starts. Expect he will hit the money again today.

Race 9

1-8-5

#1 Shanghai Tariff returned off her layoff to run a strong second last time out. She's eligible to improve and has been super quick in her morning works. #8 Heaven's Whisper comes in a winner of two straight since adding her current jockey Talamo who rides again today. #5 Meadow Dance ran second in her previous two races against tougher. Look for her to be ready to return to the money off her layoff.

Race 10

11-14-10-13

#11 Serengeti Empress looked elite last time out winning the Grade 2 Azeri. She is also eligible to improve with this being her third start off a layoff. She will be out front again today, will anyone catch her? #14 Ce Ce look great in the Beholder Mile last time out. She will be tough here if her form travels with her. #10 Cookie Dough ran a tough race last time to claim victory in the Royal Delta Grade 3. She should be pressing the lead again today and will look to pull the upset. #13 Lady Apple had a disappointing run last time out but won her previous two. She also is going to make her third start off a layoff making her eligible to improve. Watch for her to return to form today.

Race 11

10-1-2

#10 Matrooh won two in a row before finishing third last time out. He will be in the mix again today. His jockey/trainer combo is also winning 30%. #1 Timeline ran a good third last time out in his return to the track. He is also eligible to improve with this being his second off a layoff. #2 Kurilov won two in a row before finishing fourth again tougher last time out. Look for him to get back in the money here.
